Valkyrs hit seven, Phoenix hold Bacchas

Valkyrs A hit seven and arch rivals Bacchas A were held to a surprise goalless draw on a good day for the champions on Saturday.

Gareth Morris hit four as Valkyrs ran out 7-0 winners over Falcons, and was joined on the scoresheet by Ali Caroon (two) and Greg Miller, while Phoenix produced a display to be proud of to frustrate Bacchas A.

Bacchas B won well, 5-2 against Celts, thanks to a Niamh Goddard hat-trick and Tom Wilson and Peter Hodgson goals.

Regular scorer Dan Stewart hit a brace for Celts.

Ramsey A were given a scare before a goal from Ben Curtis was enough to see of Valkyrs B.
