by isleofman.com 3rd October 2007
The web host Netcetera, now operating their 10 million pound centre at the Freeport at Ronaldsway is attending the 6th annual EIG, the European
I-Gaming Congress and Expo taking place at the Barcelona International
Convention Centre from 2 to 4 October 2007 alongside the Isle of Man Government on stand No 302.

“Many online gaming companies choose to locate in the Isle of Man because
they gain access to the most advanced technology and the best
infrastructure along with low-tax incentives,” said Netcetera’s Chief
Operating Officer Dave Boswell. “The Island is known as a jurisdiction that
is easy to deal with and, importantly, it was recently named on the UK
Government White List which opens up the British market to iGaming
companies located here.”

The Dataport, Netcetera’s data centre is described as a world-class tier 4 data
centre boasts 700+ rack hosting capacity, or approximately 28,000 servers,
and offers a comprehensive range of hosting services and outstanding levels
of security.

C O O Dave Boswell says " For iGaming companies, their web presence is the lifeblood of business. Hosting with one of those here-today-gone-tomorrow outfits in some dodgy tax
haven could be commercial suicide. Successful online gambling companies know to put their trust in a web host that has a proven track record, a reputation for excellence and that operates in a stable and well-respected jurisdiction.”
