Demolition of Grand Island?

by isleofman.com 2nd October 2007
Permission is being sought to demolish the Grand Island Hotel in Ramsey.

The landmark building is owned by millionaire Trevor Hemmings, who has a home in Andreas.

Mr Hemmings is behind Seymar Developments, a company which last week unveiled plans for a 30 bed hotel and 96 apartments between Mooragh Park and Ramsey Promenade.

It's proposed the Grand Island site would be redeveloped with the construction of 68 new apartments.
