There's news of a major "VIP" development at Ronaldsway Airport.
Its still subject to contract, but its planned that Isle of Man Airport, along with Island Aviation And Travel Limited will develop a new executive jet facility and aircraft hangar with VIP passenger facilities.
A fifty year lease on a site between the Airport and the Manx Aviation Preservation Society Museum site would see Island Aviation investing between ?3 and ?4 million on the executive jet facility site. It would include the development of an additional 2,100sqm aircraft apron area and private car park area .
