Ramsey defeat champions

Ramsey A are celebrating after a memorable victory over the champions on Saturday.

Goals from James Atchison and Ollie Webster secured a 2-1 victory over Valkyrs A, whose goal was scored by Greg Miller.

The result confirmed the northerners as genuine championship challengers.

Elsewhere, Bacchas A showed no mercy to Celts to maintain their unbeaten run.

Richard Le Page hit five and Karl Moore four in the 11-0 romp.

Sharron Pope and Gareth Craig grabbed the others.

Falcons sealed back-to-back victories with a 5-1 success over Valkyrs B, courtesy of goals from Andy Harding (two), Paul Kelly (two) and Kim Carney, while Bacchas B thrashed Phoenix A by the same scoreline.

Their scorers were Niamh Goddard, Sean Corlett (two), Dave Kneale and Andy Whiting.
