by isleofman.com 18th October 2007
David Cartmell, a well known and popular member of HSBC staff, has celebrated 30 years of continuous service.

David joined the bank in Preston in 1977, working in various branches in Lancashire and Cumbria before moving to North Yorkshire in 1990 to take up his first managerial role as a relief branch manager. After 5 years as branch manager at Helmsley he moved to the Isle of Man in 1996 and joined the commercial banking team where he worked for five years. David was the driving force in establishing the Premier Banking on the Isle of Man.

Outside the bank David is keen on salsa dancing! amongst other pursuits.
