TT brings in fifty million.

The TT, in its centenary year, put nearly 50 million pounds into the economy.
Figures, just published by the Government, set the average spend for the sixty thousand visitors at ?800 a head.

The good news for next year is that bookings are up 35% for this time of year.

One aspect that will be looked at closely will be making the event more appealing for younger riders.
Paul Phillips, Motorsport Development Officer says that will involve using the
" young guns" in racing, as part of the publicity:
