Historic agreement with Nordic countries

by isleofman.com 30th October 2007
The Treasury Minister and officials are in Oslo today to sign an historic series of co-operation agreements.

The agreements are with the seven members of the Nordic Council, Denmark, the Faroes, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

The taxation and economic agreements are the first of their kind between the Nordic countries and an international finance centre.

It opens the possibility of co-operation in other areas such as the growing Manx sectors of shipping and aviation.
