Island fencer at British Championships

International wheelchair fencer Ian Kneale-Barrow from St Johns has claimed some good results at the British Disabled Fencing National Championships.

Held at Stoke Mandeville, Kneale-Barrow finished 3rd in the Foil, 2nd in the Epee and 3rd in the Sabre.

There are three classifications in wheelchair fencing - A, B and C. Each athlete is internationally classified according to their disability and Ian is in the A category.
