GBH with intent case continues

Two men charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent on a homeless man have made a further appearance before the High Bailiff.

Forty-three year-old Marcus Anthony McCormack, of North View, Peel and 24 year-old Mark Anthony Quirk, of Castlemona Avenue, Douglas are accused of attacking Joseph McCabe in Peel in August.

The 57 year-old subsequently died in a hospital in the United Kingdom.

Police are waiting for a pathologist’s report and both men will appear in court again on November 20.

Forty-one year-old Sandra Rose Quirk, also of North View, Peel, is charged with committing an act against public justice in connection with the incident.
