Card shop theft

by isleofman.com 5th November 2007
Police are looking for thieves who stole cash from a shop in Market Street.

The theft occurred sometime between 9pm on Friday (2nd) and 9am on Saturday (3rd) after the back doors of Supercards were forced open.

The money was in various dominations of change from 10p to pound coins and included the wages of a part-time worker at the store.

Police are asking for anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident, or any shop workers who may have had customers paying for goods in coinage out of bank money bags, to get in touch with Constable Paul Kemp at Lord Street police station on 631 434
