Hat trick of successes for Douglas

Douglas has won the Island in Bloom competition for the third year running.

The capital took the big town category, as well as the overall prize, at today's awards ceremony at the Villa Marina.

It means Douglas will again represent the Isle of Man at Britain in Bloom, with the 2008 event scheduled for next July.

Ramsey and Ballaugh also did particulary well, scooping a number of first prizes between them.

Park Superintendent for Douglas Corporation Kevin Bott (pictured) has already started planning for next July:
