Corlett drugs sentence adjourned

Sentence on a 31-year old woman who admitted supplying drugs to another person at this year's Laxey Blues Festival been adjourned by the High Bailiff for reports.

Leanne Corlett of Cronk y Berry, Douglas, admitted one offence of being concerned in the supply of drugs to another, and three offences of possessing drugs.

Inspector Michael Musson, prosecuting, said the defendant was detained on May 5th in Laxey

A search of her vehicle revealed 2.55 grammes of cocaine, 5.35 grammes of amphetamine, 0.7 of bush and 260 milligrammes of Ecstasy. A similar amount of drugs were found at her home.

The defendant was also seen in Laxey passing two wraps to another person.

Corlett said all the drugs were for her own use.

Mr Moyle bailed her until November 27th.
