'Deplorable' theft in nightclub

Police are appealing for information about a 'deplorable incident', in which a man in a wheelchair had his mobile phone stolen.

It happened in the Colours nightclub after the victim agreed to lend his phone to another man, who left and didn't come back.

Around ?50 worth of calls were run up, before the number was disconnected by the phone provider.

It happened at about 1.30am on Saturday.

Anybody who has any information about the incident is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212, call Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111, or talk to any police officer.
