Manx2.com is launching a big, low fare promotion.
The 'Freedom to Fly' initiative is designed to 'significantly boost the number of people flying to and from the Isle of Man through the winter and well into 2008.'
It will involve 10,000 tickets, costing ?15 each, between the Isle of Man and Belfast and the Isle of Man and Blackpool.
In all cases they will be for a single journey and the sum paid will include taxes.
They will be available on selected flights from mid January.
Chairman of Manx2.com, Noel Hayes, admits its a pragmatic decision, designed to fill seats at quiet periods:
Researching your Manx family history can be a very interesting and rewarding hobby. Trace your roots in the Isle of Man with our helpful of guide.
