VLM bought out

by isleofman.com 27th December 2007
It's reported that Air France-KLM has bought VLM Airlines, which flies from Ronaldsway.

Air France-KLM said on Monday it had agreed to buy the European regional carrier.

VLM Airlines is a unit of Dutch company Panta Holdings BV, has a fleet of 19 aircraft and operates most of its flights from London City Airport.

A statement said VLM Airlines would actively cooperate with the regional carrier CityJet, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Air France, already operating out of London City Airport.
