A former administrator with Anglo Irish Trust Company has been disqualified from being a director for six years.
Deemster Kerruish described Francis Duffy as a person of relatively good character who had cooperated fully with the Isle of Man Police, the internal investigation carried out by his employers and the Financial Supervision Commission.
But, after assessing the facts that Mr Duffy had dishonestly obtained just over ?4,500 pounds while acting as an administrator, he concluded his conduct made him 'an unfit person' and a disqualification order should be made.
In May, Mr Duffy was given concurrent custodial sentences of two months, in respect of four offences.
