Jersey looks to gain an hour!

by isleofman.com 5th January 2008
Jersey is exploring the possibility of linking up with Central European Time.

It would involve putting clocks forward an hour, setting them in sync with Europe, but out of step with the United Kingdom and, of course, the Isle of Man.

A consultation paper will be put out at Easter in Jersey to gauge public opinion.

Meanwhile, Guernsey's parliament is due to debate the idea next month.

It's not thought any such move is envisaged in the Isle of Man.
