VLM Airline passenger numbers have increased to just under 750,000 in the last twelve months, with the service between the Isle of Man and London City the fastest growing.
The London service, which operates every weekday and Sunday, saw an 83 per cent increase in passengers carried compared to the previous year.
The total number of scheduled passengers carried by VLM last year increased by six per cent and there was a sharp rise in demand for charter services, with passenger numbers totalling 47,897.
VLM Airlines carried over 300,000 passengers on its services to and from the Netherlands in 2007, with Isle of Man passengers able to connect to direct flights at London City Airport to Rotterdam, Groningen and Amsterdam.
On the Amsterdam route, demand rose sharply by 44 per cent.
