An on-line pharmaceutical catalogue, developed by PDMS of Castletown for the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency, has won the award for central e-Government excellence in Procurement.
The awards are the United Kingdom's highest level commendation for the best e-Government and technology driven services which use innovative on-line delivery and IT implementation to positively transform the lives of citizens and local communities.
Managing Director of PDMS Chris Gledhill says the launch of the catalogue has helped many pharmacy departments within NHS trusts and HM prisons to save time and achieve better value for money.
There was praise from Prime Minister Gordon Brown for the nominees. He told them: 'I commend you all for your initiative, your drive and your commitment to providing the public with the very best.'
