Retreat by Chancellor?

The Chancellor of the Exchequer appears to have retreated over plans to tax non-domicile companies in the United Kingdom.

Alistair Darling (pictured) has apparently taken the decision following pressure from the City, and recent reports the move would severely damage London's status.

The Manx Treasury has said new regulations basing qualification for taxation in the United Kingdom on the number of flights people make into UK airports could be very damaging.
