PDMS software developer appointed

Mark Stringer has been appointed software developer for PDMS.

Managing Director Chris Gledhill says: 'we use our own software development framework, Foundations which is based on Microsoft.Net and Mark's deep experience with the Microsoft technologies will be a definite asset in meeting the specific needs of our clients'.

After studying computer science at DeMontfort University, Leicester Mark joined a company called Xplora (now marchFIRST), where he was responsible for the redesign and development of the entire intranet system. His most recent role was as technical specialist for Zurich International Solutions, where he focused on developing web-based applications using Microsoft.

Mark ( pictured) is married, a keen photographer, a member of the Laxey Mines Research Group and is part of the team responsible for the restoration of the Snaefell Water Wheel, now known as Lady Evelyn.
