Energy document - 'encouraging' response

by isleofman.com 26th February 2008
The Department of Trade and Industry says initial response, following the launch of a public consultation document on energy at this year’s Energy Expo at the Villa Marina, has been encouraging.

Over 700 copies were collected by those attending and responses have already been received. The document can be obtained from the DTI at Hamilton House, Peel Road, Douglas IM1 5EP, or accessed at the department’s website at gov.im/dti/energy.

The DTI says the document provides much of the background information to many of the energy issues affecting the Island, and the context and rationale for the energy strategy.

It also poses a number of questions for readers which, it is hoped, will encourage a wide response from those interested in influencing future strategy.
