Diving inquest to resume

by isleofman.com 29th February 2008
The inquest of a Liverpool man, who died while diving off Port Erin, will resume next week.

Forty-one year-old Michael Bromsgrove, a bricklayer from Anfield, was with a party of divers visiting the Island in April 2006.

Emergency services were alerted after he got into trouble and, although he was recovered from the water, he was declared dead at the port.

When the inquest initially opened, the cause of death was given as salt water drowning.

Three days have been set aside for the hearing from next Wednesday.
