Crosby residents should check oil tanks

People in the Crosby aea are being urged to check their oil tanks.

It follows a recent incident in which a large quantity of heating oil was siphoned out of such a container, at a property in Eyreton ('AIR-ton') Road.

It happened sometime in a period of over a month, between January 21st and February 26th.

Police are advising residents of the area to check both the security and contents of their tanks.

Anybody with information about the offence is asked to ring Peel police, on 842208.
