In court after weekend drug seizure

A 38 year-old Douglas man charged with drugs offences has been remanded in custody.

Mark Hinds, of Clifton Terrace appeared in court this morning, following the seizure of heroin with a street value of ?13,000 at the weekend.

He was remanded in custody until March 11.

The Class A drugs were recovered during an operation led by the Drugs Trafficking Team on Saturday night.
