It's reported this morning that BBC presenter and DJ Andy Kershaw has been arrested again, just days after being released from serving seven weeks of a three month jail sentence.

He was jailed for breaking a restraining order banning him from seeing his ex-partner Juliette Banner.

Police won't comment on individual cases but have confirmed that a 48 year old man from the west of the Island was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of having breached a restraining order.

Unofficial sources say Mr Kershaw was picked up at a public house in Peel

The man referred to by police is due to appear before the High Bailiff this morning.

Mr Kershaw's sister, DJ Liz Kershaw, is quoted this morning as saying her brother had been re-arrested and she was 'devastated'.
