Fairtrade at St Ninian's

by isleofman.com 5th March 2008
The ethics of fair trade are beginning to attract wide interest in the Isle of Man.

All sorts of organisations - from the government down - are adopting Fairtrade principles - and doing their bit to promote the humanitarian message.

As part of Fairtrade forthnight, pupils at St Ninian's High School have been making a special effort to spread the word - and support fairtrade products.

Posters have been put up around the school and there have been stalls and special assemblies. In the long term St Ninian's hopes to gain official Fairtrade status.
