Flap gate works - weather permitting

by isleofman.com 10th March 2008
Work on the Peel flap gate should mean restrictions from this evening
(Sunday) until Tuesday morning, but work will be weather permitting.

A scheduled hydraulic oil change will mean there is scheduled to be no access into or out of Peel Inner Harbour over high water, from approximately 10.15 am on Monday until 3.10pm.

From this evening (Sunday) until Tuesday morning, the swingbridge is expected to be closed off to pedestrians.

The work was scheduled for April but the earlier date is to save added disruption for boat owners later in the Spring.
