Make Douglas a better place - Mayor

The Mayor of Douglas is asking the town’s residents to help make it a better place to live.

A new initiative, the Douglas Charter, brings together the council, police and government bodies to improve the environment and make the Island’s capital safer, greener and cleaner.

But Colin Cain (pictured) says it’s not just about official bodies, and he is urging the public to get involved.

He says it’s about doing simple things which can make big differences (audio file attached):
