That's the verdict as the high waters recede.
Severe weather overnight led to flooding in several of the Island's harbour areas at high tide this lunchtime, but gale force winds didn't materialise and the floods were less severe than feared.
Department of Transport staff and emergency services were out in force - sand-bags were piled-up in areas most at risk - and drivers urged to move their vehicles from harbour roads.
In Castletown the waters spilled over the harbour walls and there was more than a foot of flood water on the Tongue at Douglas inner harbour, although the raised walling along the new North Quay kept the sea at bay.
