Theft of fish causes owner grief

Police in the south of the Island are investigating an unusual theft of fish from a garden pond.

Three gold coloured Koi Carp and 13 large goldfish were taken from the rear garden of a property in Clagh Vane, Ballasalla sometime between Sunday evening and early on Monday morning.

Poice say the thieves made 'a considerable effort' to steal the fish and their loss has caused their owner considerable grief.

Anyone with information is asked to ring the Port Erin station on 832222.
