Advice for students on health matters

by isleofman.com 12th March 2008

Hundreds of young people were offered a wealth of valuable advice on a range of health issues, at a big Health Fair at the Isle of Man College today.

Around 30 organisations manned stalls and offered students, from the College and local high schools, a chance to chat about any concerns, or raise queries.

They included the Samaritans, Cruse Bereavement, Manx Cancer Help, the Drug and Alcohol Team and the Family Planning Clinic.

Jacqui Dunn from the Greenhouse family planning centre wants youngsters to know a friendly and confidential service is available, when they need it (audio file attached):

Jacqui Dunn was speaking to Dan Davies, live on Talking Heads.
