LVP candidate in South Ramsey

by isleofman.com 13th March 2008
Another Liberal Vannin Party candidate has declared his intention to contest next month's local authority general election.

Vice Chairman of the Ramsey Chamber of Trade Eddie O'Sullivan has thrown his hat into the ring in the town's south ward.

He believes that outwardly Ramsey is at its lowest ebb, but the north of the Island has an amazing wealth of talent which needs a suitable venue to be fully appreciated. With this in mind, he would support any attempts to create, what he calls, a multi-user civic facility for the town and surrounding area.

Mr O'Sullivan says there are challenging times ahead for Ramsey and the Island, and to move forward partnerships must be built between government, property developers, local businesses and the community.

He works as a lens technician for a local optometrist.

Mr O'Sullivan (pictured) is the fourth official Liberal Vannin candidate to declare, and the election is on April 24.
