The defendant stole small items of relatively low value from patients at Saddle Mews nursing home where she was employed . She also stole ?300 worth of goods from Marks and Spencer. All the goods were recovered.
Her advocate described it as 'kleptomania' and said the defendant had suffered a series of setbacks and problems.
Mr Moyle said the matter was unusual, and in excluding her from the Island for five years said she would be better off with her family and friends in Poland.
He gave her seven days in which to leave the Island.
