The Chairman of Braddan Commissioners has admitted the decision, by former Local Government Minister John Rimmington, to withdraw the Braddan plan, was the correct one.

Margaret Hodge has also questioned whether former Clerk to the Board Charles Lewin had a seperate agenda with regard to planning matters.

Mrs Hodge was giving evidence to a Select Committee of Tynwald looking into the local authority's affairs.
