Pensioner appeals to fish thieves

by isleofman.com 14th March 2008
A pensioner whose exotic fish were stolen from the rear garden of her home in Clagh Vane, Ballasalla is making a personal appeal for information to try and get them back.

The three gold coloured Koi Carp and 13 large goldfish were taken last weekend, and police say whoever was responsible made a considerable effort to commit the crime.

They say the loss of the fish has caused the victim considerable grief.

The woman herself, who doesn't want to be named, can't understand why anybody would do such a thing (audio file attached):

Anybody with information which might help police catch the thieves is asked to ring Port Erin police station, on 832222.
