St George's v Peel in FA Cup Final

The top two sides in Manx football will meet in the showpiece of the Manx season.

League champions St George’s and cup holders Peel will clash at the Bowl on Easter Monday in the Cu-Plas Fa Cup Final.

Peel were pushed all the way before ending the brave challenge of Second Division Pulrose to book their place – Chris Cain scoring the only goal of the game midway through the first half.

Meanwhile, St George’s thrashed Laxey 5-2 at Glencrutchery Road, courtesy of doubles from Callum Morrissey and Chris Bass junior, plus a goal from Jack McVey.

John Callow scored for the Miners, whose other goal was an own goal.
