Farmers told life can begin at 40

There's help for more young farmers, with Tynwald backing amendments to the Farm and Horticulture Improvement Scheme.

For two years only, the age limit for the scheme has been extended to 42, in an attempt to encourage farmers to invest in long-term capital improvements and their own futures.

Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne (pictured) says that in agriculture, life really can begin at 40:
