Ban will have little effect on business

The Isle of Man will become the last place in Britain to ban smoking in public places at the end of this month.

Some senior members of the brewery industry here have predicted a downturn in revenue as people may choose to stay at home rather than venture out to pubs, clubs and bars.

But Manager of The Railway in Douglas, Wes Burgess, doesn't think it will have much of an effect on business:
