TT shortcomings to be assessed

Could the TT be facing its biggest crisis in years?

And can shortcomings in its organsiation be put right in time for the start of this year's event?

Searching questions for all involved, in the wake of the damning judgement delivered by Coroner Michael Moyle at the inquest into the deaths of a competitor and two spectators at the centenary event.

Recording misadventure verdicts on all three, Mr Moyle was highly critical of safety measures - and the attitude of the individuals and organisations responsible.

Some changes are already being addressed: TT will in future be run by ACU Events Limited and a new co-ordinating committee has been set up.
