Minshull wins Peel Hill Climb

Tom Minshull from Trafford Athletics Club won Easter Saturday’s Peel Hill Climb.

He pipped Paul Rodgers into second place after taking the lead just 150 metres from the finish.

Nick Lee of Altrincham took third place with Darren Gray the leading local in 19th.

The women’s race was won by Emily Klee of Leeds University, ahead of Rosie Smith of Edinburgh and Sarah Graham, also of Leeds, in third.

Locals again performed well with Gail Griffiths the leading Islander in 20th.
