Self-promotion shortcomings claim

One of Britain's wealthiest businessmen thinks the Isle of Man doesn't do enough to promote itself.

Lord Swraj Paul, Baron of Marylebone, has likened us to a child of whom his colleagues in the House of Lords speak very highly, but only when they remember who we are!

The steel industry tycoon was on the Island earlier this month as the main speaker at a dinner to celebrate Commonwealth Day, organised by the Manx branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.

But despite its alleged shortcomings in the area of self-promotion, Lord Paul says the Island has a lot to be proud of (audio file attached):
