Public invited behind bars

From next month, the public will be given the chance to have a look inside the Island's new ?40 million prison at Jurby.

But it's a limited opportunity, and bookings are being taken from 9.30 this morning (Tues).

The tours will be on April 26th and 27th, and May 3rd and 4th. Numbers are restricted to 600 people a day and tours will be organised on a 'first come first served' basis. There is a minimum age limit of 13 (anyone between 13 and 16 must have an adult with them).

The number to ring is 686157. The lines will be open until 7pm until all places are allocated.
