Claddaghs camp site use discussed

The future use of the Sulby Claddaghs camping area is being discussed.

A liaison committee, with representatives from Lezayre Commissioners and the Department of Agriculture, is mulling over suggestions for improving the beauty spot.

They include planting more trees and making the area generally more attractive.

Length of maximum stay for campers is another issue. It has been claimed that in some cases the rules are currently being abused.

Carl Brew of Lezayre Commissioners is on the liason committee:
