Today (Tues) the Governors Bridge roundabout, a busy route into Douglas from the North will be closed .

It could be five weeks before it re-opens as work progresses on the road improvement scheme.

Roads closed are the A2 Bemahague Road from the Blackberry Lane Junction to the Bridge.

Also affected is the A18 from the Nook down to Governors Bridge. Motorists are advised to use Johnny Watterson's lane instead. The road will also be shut from the Victoria Road roundabout.
