by isleofman.com 26th March 2008
The police have confirmed that the incident in Douglas this morning at Clifton Terrace on Broadway is being treated as a murder investigation.

A 28 year old man was found with serious injuries early this morning. He was taken to hospital but subsequently died.
A murder investigation has been launched and two people are presently in custody, although it remains a " live investigation".

A Home Office pathologist is on his way to the Island to carry out a post mortem either later today or tomorrow.
The name of the dead man will not be released until formal identification has been made.

The police are apologising to anyone for the disruption that has been caused by closing off the road. Scaffolding has been erected outside the building and the entrance screened off.
The public are being stopped from entering a nearby glen.
