A post mortem will be carried out tomorrow morning on the body of a 28 year-old man as part of a murder investigation.
It was launched after the man was found with serious injuries at an address on Clifton Terrace, Douglas, and subsequently died in hospital in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
Detective Inspector Kevin Wilson says two people are currently being held at Douglas Police Station and will be interviewed in due course.
He says a name won't be released until after formal identification, which is unlikely to take place until tomorrow afternoon (audio file attached):
