Celtic League says Scots are no help

A letter from the Celtic League to Scottish Government Minister for Culture Linda Fabiani, who visited the Isle of Man for the first time recently, has failed to produce a joint effort to reclaim national treasures 'looted' from both countries.

The Scots are seeking the return of the Lewis Chessmen, and the Manx Government is keen to permanently repatriate the Chronicles of Mann.

Director of Information for the Celtic League Bernard Moffatt (pictured) says legal ownership isn't the issue - just having possession would be quite enough:
