Motorists will be unable to use the Mountain Road during off-peak hours for 13 days, from today.
The closures will apply from 9.30am to 4.30pm each day and are so the Department of Transport can carry out maintenance work in preparation for the TT races.
However, the road will be open as usual if weather conditions do not allow for work to take place.
The maintenance work will include restoring road markings, painting bridges and kerbs, and preparation for temporary signage.
Information is available from the DoT, on 850000.
